So I have been sick all week but today was so gorgeous I had to go out and at least take some pictures. However I am realizing that either I suck and taking pictures or I need to break down and buy a digital camera as the one on my phone is ok but not great.







Just a picture driving home from the beach nothing super exciting other then it still reminds me of San Fransisco.




This was kind of a cool house by the beach where I parked my car other then that I don't know why i took the picture.




This is a park by the beach there is what I believe to be like a private boating club place over to the right.

3 Disclaimers on this picture first.

1) There are naked people in it if you zoom in.

2) you can see anything as its blurry.

3)Even if you could see something this is the kind of naked that would make you go egwww not whoo nice.

So I am standing at the beach there at this little park and I see this very large woman come out with a towel on drop the towel and climb into the ocean I am like holy crap that water is so cold why would you do that. (that was prob not my first though lol)Then after a quick dunk she puts the towel back on and goes in to one of those little buildings. Then a few minutes later another not really attractive lady does the same thing from another building. Then two ladies come out of one of the other buildings to do the same at this point I was laughing so I had to take the picture. My guess is, that there are saunnas in the budilings and they are jupping in the cold water then jumping back in the sauna.

To bad they were not hot I would have stayed longer. ha ha

Just looking out at some of the cool boats again I need a better camera.

Some guys were in kayak looked fun but very very cold.

Ok so just north of Copenhagen and between me and the closest beach is this really cool forest I think its like a natural preserve or something accpe that there are houses in it to. There are some stables as well and people ride a lot of horses here. There are some really cool trails here but its not super big you could prob drive from one side to the other in like 25 minutes.

Any way this was a cool looking house I saw on the corner.



This is where I wish my camera was better or I took better pictures. This could have been a really gorgeous picture. This is one of the cool trails I was talking about it forks of right here. There is a log in the middle with an old lady with a walker sitting on it but its a little blurry. But there are cool trails like this all over here.

I had to run in to Copenhagen Sat specifically I was in a part called Nørrport. I guess Copenhagen used to be a giant castle with different forts that protected it and they had basically this giant moat that went around it with bridges that would go across it, to protect it. The different sections of the moat I guess you would call it are now kind of like little lakes that have ducks and I think in the summer you can do that boating sport where you get a bunch of people and row I don't know what it is called any way. The bridges are still there and are main roads. The buildings remind me a lot of San Fransisco. So I took a few pics of some of the buildings and one of the little lakes. Enjoy
It's been really over cast a lot lately well at least during the times when I am not working. One of these weekends it will be really nice out and then I will really take some great pictures.

The Shower handle hangs on the wall lol.

Notice the floor is all tile....Notice the shower curtain on the other side of that is the toilet not the shower.... you guessed it your looking at the shower you stand in front of the sink and wala...I am told most of the old buildings have showers like this my new hose won't but it's kind of fun I can shower and poop at the same time whooo hoooo

Ok So those are the Pics my place is pretty small but it's fun that its so close to everything. There is a grill across the street I go to a lot to get a burger or a sandwich. Most Danish People only go out once a week to eat um yeah they know me across the street already ha ha.

It will be nice to get into my new place but this has been good for me to get some furniture and get a feel for whats around and what not...

Ok so on to the pics.

One funny story one of my bosses told me they had American Stores out here that sold American products grocery type stores. I asked one of the other partners about it and he though I just meant grocery stores so he gave me a list of them I was like wow there are several right by my flat. He said yes there are. Later I said I couldn't find the American store he said why do you call it American store I said cause I was looking for a store that just sold American foods and drinks he said oh I thought you just meant a grocery store. He said he though I was just being arrogant and calling all the stores American stores ha ha.

remember there is an 8 hour time difference I am 8 hours ahead. I don't usually go to bed till between midnight and 1 so you can call any time up to 5 pm.

Wow I have arrived.

So i got about an hour and a half sleep before I left. Then I got some sleep on the different planes. By the way plane trips that long prob no matter what suck. The airport in Copehagen is really big and nice I was impressed. Two of the owners of my company met me at the airport. We sat down and talked about the job for a while and I am very excited to get to work I think this is going to be a great opportunity for me. They told me that the number of Americans that come over here for work is quite small. The government here has a program to try and get more so to get some one who is as technical as I am in kind of a jewel in their crown (Info trusts) . They said that several papers here have allready asked to speak with me and doing some articles on the fact that I have come out here. Crazy huh.



Any way after that David the main partener I have been dealing with took me to their office to pick up my laptop and then to my apartment. The apartment is quite small. One bedroom. It has really nice wooden floors. the bathroom is tiny. The crazy thing about the bathroom is that there is a hand held shower attached to the sink but no shower so to speak. There is drain on he bathroom floor and a curtain that splits the bathroom in two. The showe and the bathroom are the same place. I haven't tried this out yet but it looks um interesting. I don't have my own washer and dryer they are down stairs. They are actually building a new house for me not renovating wich is why it is taking so long. It should be done in a couple of months and when I move into that i will be able to get my own washer and dryer. Any way it's cute the front room have bay windows that over look the intercetion and it's very close to down town.

I won't get my work phone tilll monda as the phone I wanted th etouch pro is very new out here. I am having trouble setting up my internet phone as I forgot to get a power converter before I left and I don't have a way to plug it in. I have gone to several stores but can only find adapters not converters. I will try and order one on line asap and get that moving.



It's crazy how frustrating it can be not to get simple stuff. My laptop has a danish keyboard. It's a little different what I wouldn't give to get a us keyboard and mouse you can get one in any walmart back home for 15 bucks but I can't find one out here. I guess it's a good thing I can order stuff online lol.

Ok so to the funny stuff I have seen. I have seen so many funny signs. signs tht would make you guys laugh. There is one that is all over the place that baically means reduce your speed by 10. But it looks like it talks about fartin. so funny I keep wanting to crack jokes about it but no one would get it so there is no point ha ha.

Half the people over here ride bikes it seems. I have seen girls in steleto boots and heels ridin bikes it's crazy, and a little hot :)

Speaking of hot I have seen so many hot blondes walking around wow I think I have died and gone to heven.

I tried to take everyones advice and stay up as long as I could but at around 6 pm over here I finnaly fell asleep and then woke back up at 11:00. The bat on tmobile phone died and I haven't been able to charge it yet. so I havent take any pics.

I saw the tivoli amausment park out here i live very close to it. It looks really cool.I am missing all my computer stuff and will have to get my family to send them out to me soon.

I also need to download the latest episode of smallvilee and heroes and the last two bones...I miss my shows :)

Other then that I don't have a lot to report on. My first day was quite overwheling a lot of culture shock everthing is so different over here. I am sure I will getused to it but so far it has made me feel very much out of my comfortzone. I am the dumb foreighner trying to make sure I don't get ripped off but prob wouldn't know if I did lol.



I will put pictures up as soon as I can and type more later.

General Info.

Just a heads on on a few things. I have set up a vonage Internet phone system. It has a local Utah number. On Thursday morning I am going to request that my 548-3594 number be transferred to it. What this means is that when I get over to Denmark I will hook my phone system up to the Internet over there and then you can call me on my normal number as soon as the number switches over. Remember there is an 8 hour time difference but I usually am up until around 1ish any way so that means you should be fine calling me as late as 5 pm.

For those who text me you won't be able to text that number any more as it will not be a cell phone number. However I will have email on my work cell phone over there and it will bet set like my current phone is. So if you email my Gmail account I will see it right away and respond. So if your phone can send emails that will be the way to text me. I will also be able to forward my vonnage phone number to my work cell phone over there. I am not sure if that is accurate if it is then you should be able to reach me any time like now. If that is not the case then I will only be reachable when I am home as it will be my home number.

I have signed up with a really cool mail service called Earth Class Mail. http://www.earthclassmail.com.

This service allows me to have all of my mail sent to a local address here in the US. They then scan all of the envelopes and put the images on a secure web page I log into. I can go in and see all of the mail I have received and then I can select what stuff to have shredded and thrown away as in junk mail and what stuff I want to keep. Then when ever I want say every month or two months I can select the mail I want and have it sent over to me in one bulk package so it's not as expensive.

If you want to send me something and you don't care if it takes a few weeks to get to me I would use the following PO Box. That way you don't have to pay a bunch to get it to me. I will email you guys my address in Copenhagen when I get over there so if you do need to send me something you can. You can also just send stuff to my current address as I am having all of my mail forwarded to the PO BOX.

Getting Ready to Leave

I have always been very anti Blogging however as so many people have asked me to keep them updated I have reconsidered.
I am by no means a great photographer but because it has been requested I will take as many pics as I can and put them on here as well as let everyone know all the times I make a fool of my self over there.

I prob won't post again until I get over there and get over my jet lag.
